The Summer Is Over...

Hey guys.

So the summer has come and gone, and what a day it was!

We've done more projects than we can count. We've still got the highly anticipated Prime Target to debut, as well as the remake of Not My Time. We have loads of little videos at the ready aswell, like a drunken Andy Quann explaing the storyline to The Dark Knight and a new series named "Epic Trailers", as well as the return of The Reviewer who turns his attention to the Crash Bandicoot games.

Unfortunatly though, with the end of the summer, also comes the end of a fulltime partnership. With me leaving for Bournemouth in exactly a weeks time (19th September) and Tom staying in Stamford, you may well be seeing a decrease of videos from our end and even see the FOW pictures team change faces.

Anyway, staying on a cheery note. Shriek Watch has finally debuted, the series is continually getting more popular, so if you havn't checked out the latest episode yet. It's just below for your viewing pleasure.

Thanks

Liam.

FINALLY... THE SUPLAH... HAS COME BACK... TO THE INTERNET!

Hey Guys,

This is gonna be short and sweet.

Firstly, the major news is that The Suplah is now back, with a brand new audio episode found on www.fowpictures.co.cc, you can find it in The Suplah section of the website. You can stream it directly off the internet, or you can download it for you iPod and listen to it on the go. Keep in mind that this was a test episode to see if everything was working correctly, so quailty should improve shortly.

The second thing is the latest update of "Not My Time". The original release date for the film was 2 weeks ago, however we have decided to keep it on hold as we are arrangeing for a proper premiere for the film. After that's happened, you should be able to find it on the net shortly after.

Anyway, thanks and we hope you enjoy the new Suplah!

Good Old Technical Problems

Hey guys

Well the Suplah is currently going though some technical issues. Basically, we're still not entirely sure how we work iTunes. So if anybody can help us out with that, much appreciation.

On the other hand, FOW's new on-screen talent search is going very well indeed. As we introduce Film Director Sam Norton to the team as well as vlogger Arron from all the way down in London to contribute his own video skills. As well as this we've got Reece Dooner too, now Reece has been with FOW from the start, but he was mainly a "behind the scenes" guy doing graphics (you may recognise his work as it's featured in nearly every video we've done... That's right, he designed the FOW Pictures Logo) But he's only just recently joined the on screen team with his character "Marfach" who makes vlogs about how strange his life has been. You can check out all of his videos at
http://www.youtube.com/marfach

If you're interested in joining FOW Pictures. Check out the video below for me info!

Thanks

Expanding Into iTunes And Twitter

Hey guys,

FOW Pictures is now expanding into new markets to try and expand our audience.

The first is our brand new Twitter account Why not follow us?
http://twitter.com/fowpictures

This way all of our fans can get information about our latest video being uploaded onto YouTube, and fan interactivity

The second thing we're moving into in new audio content. FOW Pictures will be opening an iTunes Store, all of our major videos will be available for FREE video download for iPhones and similar devices. We will also be uploading other content for audio users who have iPod nano's or just general MP3 players, but these guys will get exclusive content in the form of the revitalised "Suplah" show

The Suplah was cancelled a few months back, however we have decided to bring it back under this new MP3 format, which means it will be back every week now and could last for over an hour, but of course this means we loose the visual gags.

We should hopefully be doing special Suplah videos that will be up on our YouTube account over the summer

Anyway, we have plenty of videos avalaible, in fact the number of videos we have at this moment could take us into January 2010 if we upload one video every week. However we will continue to work our arses off to make the best possible videos

Thanks

Liam

The Summer Has Landed!

Hey guys.

Well exams have finally finished, which means that the summer has started and we're going into overdrive.

The major project we will be working on will be the drama-action film "Rise Today" which has been on a 2 month production hiatus due to exams and other projects.

Other major projects will be a re-make of "Not My Time" with the original cast and crew all returning. However, there will be a few differences from the original, but what they are is somthing you will have to find out.

We also plan on starting a short comedy film entitled "The Debit Card". This will follow the mis-adventures of two friends who lose a debit card and the extremes they go in order to retrieve it.

As well as these, we will be starting production on the second series of "Shriek Watch" (the first series is a few weeks away from debuting!)

And of course, we shall be having other little videos appearing, including a 6 Part review from The Reviewer looking at the original Crash Bandicoot games!

This shall be the busiest summer ever for us, as it may possibly be our last as a full team due to me leaving to do a BA (Hons) Film Production course down at The Arts Institute In Bournemouth. It's the same course that film maker Edger Wright did in his youth. He went on to direct such films as "Shaun Of The Dead" and "Hot Fuzz", as well as that he's worked with THE Quintin Tarintino and is now signed to directed Marvel's newest Super Hero film "Ant Man".

In the mean time, check out the second part of The Reviewers look at the Terminator Films, in this he looks at the 1984 film that started it all "The Terminator"

Down To Bournemouth

Hey guys

I just thought I would inform those who may be interested that on Wednesday I have my interview down at the Arts Institute In Bournemouth Universtiy.

I'm applying for a Film Production course, but I'm not getting my hopes up on getting into the Uni because it's the best Film School in the country and so is very tough to get into. If I don't get in, then it's no big deal and I'll re-apply next year.

Anyway, below is the video that I'm using to represent me, my work and of course our loyal fans who have helped push us to work our butts off and produce the best quality work we possibly can.

Thanks

Liam.

Perfect 300

Hey guys.

Well in the past couple of days we managed to hit a major new milestone on YouTube as we achieved 300 subscribers. It's amazing that our work is enjoyed and appreciated by so many people, and we must thank each and every one of them... yes including the haters and the spammers.

In other news, our very own Tom Bancroft passed a film audition and is now working with a BBC Director in the summer with myself, Michael Watson and Scott Brown. If you're interested in seeing his audition, the video will be below.

Once again, thanks to all that has helped us along the way, and continue to help us. We're getting more popular and more experiance by the day and that wouldn't be happening if it wasn't for you great people!

Thanks

Liam

Best FOW Film Ever?

Hey guys!

Well we've uploaded a brand new short film named "The Intimidation Game". The film was created as part of our film studies course. The objective was to translate everything we've learnt in the past 2 years into a short five minute film, so the narrative took a back seat for the use of camera angles, lighting, music, mise-en-scene and the use of diagetic and non-diagetic sound.

The film parady's and pays tribute to classic films like "Alien", "The Matrix", "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly", "Dirty Harry", "Terminator 2: Judgement Day", "Star Wars" and even classic Samuri films. As well as paying a small tribute to the popular internet short film "Ryan vs. Dorkman 2".

We also use a number of different genre's in the film, we use Comedy, Action, Horror, Thriller, and Sci-Fi.

The film has been a surprise hit with audiences and managed to get myself and Michael an A. It's great that nobody has taken the film seriously and the fun that we had making the film managed to transition to the audience extremely well.

This is just the first in a string of upcoming new films and videos from us, as we still have plenty lined up for you all.

FOW Does Comic Relief

Hey guys,

Another update as there hasn't been one in ages.

So, in the last blog I mentioned that we're having some technical problems which has lasted a few weeks which has resulted in the lack of progression of new work, and even cost me an interview at the Arts Institute At Bournemouth. However it looks like these problems will be ending in just a short number of days, as the laptop is fixed, and we now have a brand new HD Camera at our disposal. Good times!

So what have we been doing during this dead period? Well the main thing we've been doing is coming up with ideas, we have TONS that are going back in production (like "Live For The Moment") or will start production (Like "FOW vs. Dark Angel") as soon as everything is sorted.

Other good news, FOW Pictures has actually landed a slot on NCS Radio. Every Tuesday between 2:30 and 4:15, Liam Dunne and Tom Bancroft (with various special guests) will present "The New Stuff Show". Why is it called the NEW Stuff Show? Well back in the 80's my Father, Steve Dunne, had a radio show too which he named "The Stuff Show". On the show, we shall be chatting about various topics, have a few skits, do some improv comedy and... of course... play some music. Generally just chill out on a Tuesday afternoon. Now I am aware that not everybody will have accsess to listening to us, but have no fear as we will actually be recording the event on video and hopefully cut down a near 2 hour show into 10 minutes for our internet based fans. Similar to what we did with The Suplah.

This past Friday, we uploaded a short film that we made especially for Comic Relief 2009, a great cause that raises awareness about the poverty in Africa though laughter.

Thanks for reading!

Liam.

Technical Hitches.. Don't We Love Them?

Hey guys.

I've been getting a lot of questions about the next FOW Pictures video. Well if you subscribe to YouTube's DJE179 channel, he should be uploading an exclusive interview with myself and Tom Bancroft and we answer that very same question.. so keep your eyes peeled!

However, we are experiancing a huge technical hitch. With us, these arn't uncommon, however this is a very big one that threatens my current laptop which contains all of our work. Yes previous work, Pre-Prduction work, Production work, Post-Production work and the videos we're waiting to release. We do certainly hope to get these problems fixed, but you will have to bare with us for a couple of days untill we have everything sorted.

Another reason as to why FOW Pictures is slowing down in production is simply because of Universtiy situations. I'm currently applying to Uni and right now my main focus is to try and get into the best film school in the country the Arts Institute in Bournemouth, and for anybody who's applied to Uni you know how hard it can be to even be shown interest by it. So wish me luck for my interview at Bournemouth on March 9th.

But, like I said. Stick by us and we'll continue to make videos for our great fans and subscribers!

Finally, if you have a Facebook account, don't forget to check out FOW Pictures new page. It shows exclusive production shots of the videos we make and will hopefully have some exclusive videos uploaded onto that page. So click that fan button!

Thanks!

Back To Work

Hey guys.

We all hope everybody had a peaceful Christmas and a fantastic New Years, as ours were the complete opposite lol.

Anyway, it's been a month since we've really updated anything. We've uploaded 2 new videos in the new year, the first was "Andy Quann - The Quest" which was where our very own Andy Quann takes part in a wrestling trivia game to win a copy of the latest WWE game. The second was a trailer for our co-produced film with Dark Light Pictures' film "Deathnote" which should be making it's appearance online very soon.

Anyway, dispite our Christmas being hectic and our New Years being disasters, we've have a very nice break from film making. As much as we love doing the things we do, sometimes you just need a bit of time to stop and let the world catch up with you. So now that we've had a rest, we're ready to get straight back into production. We've currently got 2 things going right now, the first is the 2nd series of our up-coming mockumentary serie "Shriek Watch", the second that we're filming is another drama film named "Live For The Moment" however that's all I will reveal for now.

But to keep you all happy, we have yet another new video up. It's not the greatest or the most well done, but if you've never been to Orlando Florida, well it's your lucky day as I've managed to capture some footage of when I was over there.

Enjoy!
